Dana White took notice of the fact that she had won, and was signed to UFC's strawweight category at the end of December 2014, when she was only 22. Rose has experienced extremes and lows throughout her career. However, she's always won. Rose fought Carla Esparza on April 15 of 2015 to win the Women s Strawweight Championship. Rose beat Esparza with a technical knockout in less than 3 minute of Round One. Rose not only got the title, but also was awarded Fighter Of The Night. Rose also made MMA history with this match because she became the first female to fight in a title fight in any organization of note. Namajunas then went on to win a few other fights. She also beat Joanna Jedrzejczyk two times, winning her Performance Of The Night awards from UFC.
