Anna Louise Friel is an English actress from England. She was first known for playing Beth Jordache as Beth Jordache from the British soap opera Brookside. But, she was recognized internationally for her portrayal of Charlotte Chuck Charles at ABC's Pushing Daisies. For this role she received a Golden Globe Nomination. Anna Friel is the daughter of Julie who is a specialist in teaching people with special needs, and Des Friel, a French teacher, who runs a web designing firm. Her birthplace was Rochdale.
